Andy's Christmas Party

Andy and Mel and the kids invited us to the Christmas Party this year. As the date grew nearer Melanie ended up in the hospital for surgery. They didn't want to cancel the party so we went on without Melanie. We are glad her surgery went will and hope she will be feeling much better now.

What a cute bunch of Grandkids we have. Torri is talking a blue streak. Jinettie is really a busy little girl. Taylee is our smart little girl. Chloe is growing up---we don't get to see her as often and she sure has changed. Payton, Cayson, and Connor are all boy.

We tried to get a group picture and it was a real experience. Seven kids in one photo, wow.

We also got one of Claude and his kids. (What a proud Father.)

We had a blast---hope everyone else did too.

Merry Christmas from the Garbetts

Now that Thanksgiving is officially over
we can finally start getting ready for
the Christmas season.
We spent some time on Saturday putting
together the deer and even put lights on
one of our pine trees this year.
Now all that we need is some of the white stuff.

Jennifer finally bit the dust

Well, Jennifer and Rob finally got married. They had the ceremony and reception at the cedar view. It was a fun evening. Here are some pictures of the wingding. I still need to download some more---that's why there aren't many of the groom yet. The little boy is Jeffrey Dockstader (Tricia and Darren's) and the little girl is a niece of Rob (Riley May). They rode to the ceremony in the old Dodge (Claude was the chaffeur).

Here we are Again

It has been a long time since we posted anything. We finally made the decision to go to DSL so will get going again.

Clay and Andy came up and wired Claude's Old Car Shed. It is just WONDERFUL having lights and power there now.
Andy had to go to work so didn't end up in any of the pictures. However, he did work his but off.

The trench was pretty hard to dig. Even with a trencher some places are kind of shallow.

Clay and Claude worked all day and didn't quite finish. On the way home on Sunday Clay and Deena and Jinettie stopped so it could be finished. You can see from the photo that Jinettie pulled out her hair accessories and was having a wild hair day. What a cutie.

Birthday Dinner

On Sunday we went to Grace for Taylee's birthday dinner. Grandpa and Grandma Curry, Grandpa and Grandma Garbett, Brother Whiting, and Em and Neal were there to help her celebrate. Here is a picture of her talking to Uncle Clay and Aunt Deena on the phone and enjoying the frosting (only the frosting) on her birthday cake.

Alan and the Boys have been visiting more often

Alan and the boys have been spending more time with us lately. It has given me a chance to get some more pictures of them. Connor seems to want to climb into everything---drawers, trucks, etc. They also had fun playing in the sand box.

Taylee and her Glasses

Isn't she just so cute?

The NOSE knows

July 27th came and went. Claude survived the nose surgery. No bruises and very little swelling, lots of nausea and residual tiredness. You can see that he wasn't feeling to spiffy here----but his loving wifie takes pictures of everything to share with posterity.

Down the Aisle

They practiced walking down the aisle
the night before at the motel. It all worked
out GREAT for the wedding.

Everyone had a good time. Heather looked
BEAUTIFUL!

Three days of practice, dinners, the actual Wedding,
and the dinner and dance afterward. What a great time.

Justin and Heather's Wedding

It was nice that Jeff could give Heather away. You can also see her brother, Aaron filming the nuptials.

Here is the happy couple after the ceremony.
Heather and Justin
On Saturday July 22, we went to Green River Wyoming for Heather's
Wedding. Here is a picture of Jeff and Faye with Megan and Seth before
the ceremony. Megan was the Maid of honor. Seth got to escort the flower girl
at the last minute so Heather had almost all of her siblings up on the stand with
her. Aaron was taking video's for her.

Daniel and Tiffany's big day

Well, they finally made it. On Saturday evening July 22 they finally took the plunge. They were married out at the dike. After the wedding they had a dinner, pictures and lots of visiting.

We are so happy that they tied the knot. We missed the wedding because we were in dry desolate Green River Wyoming -- but Jennifer took pictures and Grandma gave us an account of the nuptials.

Heather and Justin (Claude's niece) were married in Wyoming the same day. Will post a few of those pictures when I get them back.

Here are the pictures from camping and 4th

Well, I think we finally have it figured out so that we can send the pictures. We have Emily and Desi struggling to put up the Curry tent, with the wrong poles? Alan and Cayson by the fire. There is also a cute one of Taylee using her computer in the dark, hence the head light. Payton and Cayson were cute on the four wheeler. Then there is the picture of the sleepers. JULY FOURTH

Well, we didn't have too large a crowd in our yard for the Kelley Park fireworks this year. Claude was working and my kin all went somewhere else. Emily , Neal, and Taylee lit Tater's fireworks on our driveway and then Neal and Em went to Bear Lake to do bathrooms. Taylee spent the night with Grandma Jane. We had a good time watching the pretties and having a sleepover. Alan, Sam, Cayson, Connor and some of their friends came and sat at the end of the driveway and watched the fireworks. Taylee and I sat on the grass and watched them. They were pretty good this year.

The second annual Garbett Campout was lots of fun. Everyone made it but Clay, Deena, Jinettie, and Samantha.
The kids were lots of fun and the food was great. (will add pictures later since I can't get them to download at this time).

Em and Desi were trying to put up a tent with the wrong poles, Payton and Cayson had to show all the 4-wheeler. Taylee had fun with her cousins and her computer with her head light. Chloe and Tori were also good little campers.

Maybe next year we will be able to plan so that we can spend the night too.

Since Deena and Clay started the ball rolling and Andy and Desi are blogging too, we decided that it was a great way to keep in touch and share pictures with everyone. We are joining in with our own Blogspot.

June was a busy month. Claude was actually able to take some vacation and enjoy time off while Jane is out of school for the summer. We had his birthday on the 16th, the PIZZA'S RUN car show on the 17th, and fathers day. We have entered Pizza's run the last two years as a memorial or way to remember Matthew. We still miss him. The PHOTOS is of Claude's sister Renee, cousins Joylene and Dixie, and Claude at the car show fora 2006.
